Heron Bay Boat Slip Rental Program
The Heron Bay Homeowners Association will be making some of the HOA-owned Boat Slips available for rent beginning this spring. There are 8 slips available, at Docks A (2), B (3), and D (3). The two slips at Dock C (at the Clubhouse) will remain open for all Heron Bay owner’s day use as before.
The Rental Slips are available ONLY to current Heron Bay property owners in good standing. The agreement does NOT assign ownership over the slip.
The rental agreement will not renew automatically for 2027. The HOA reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement for any reason it deems necessary and will pro-rate back the funds paid for the unused time if appropriate.
Pro-rated Yearly Fee May – Dec 2026: $600
(anticipated full-year fee for 2027 is $1000)
Slip Rental requires:
- The lease includes details of the boat that will use the slip, and requires proof of insurance listing Heron Bay as additional insured.
- The Renter is responsible for any and all damage done to the rented slip during their rental period. The HOA is not responsible for any damages incurred.
- No loud noises or dock parties will be allowed (all community rules will apply)
- No Boat Lifts, Jet Ski attachments, or flotation devices may be attached to the slip or dock area.
